AND HOW! was a short film I directed as a third year student of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2012.

Synopsis

“How to be the perfect housewife.” Scarlet is a young actress who tries to make her way in the crazy filmmaking industry of Hollywood. She is very professional in her approach to acting and respects the people around her. Her looks are mostly what gets her places in the business and she is aware of that. Scarlet's independent personality and unaffectedness towards the arrogance of men differentiates her from other women in the 1950s. She finds herself on a film set co-acting with Dick who is extremely obnoxious and chauvinistic. Sparks fly between them, not romantic sparks, but sparks of contention. As the tension rises, their director tries to piece together any semblance of his movie. But towards the end, that all comes crashing down.
